The 57-year-old Frenchman was reportedly traveling with a group of 19 motorcyclists. They rode the road on the south side, which is popular with bikers, towards the valley. In the area of ​​the Ahornalmen, the man got into the oncoming lane in a slight right turn to the left for unknown reasons and collided with two oncoming motorcyclists. He was injured so badly that he died at the scene of the accident. The two oncoming motorcyclists from the Ahrweiler district also suffered serious injuries. The Roßfeld Panoramastraße was closed for several hours. The police and the public prosecutor’s office in Traunstein are now investigating the cause and course of the accident.
