The most prominent name on the most recent creditor lists from René Benko’s empire appears there several times: Joschka Fischer, former Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and former figurehead of the Green Party. Fischer is not personally on the creditor lists, but rather with his consulting firm, Joschka Fischer & Company GmbH. The Company GmbH, like many others, is still waiting for money from Benko’s empire. How high the claims are is not stated in the creditor lists submitted by Signa Prime and Signa Development to the court in Vienna after Christmas.
