Pop star Ben Zucker (“What a great time”) turns 40 years old on Friday. His best gift: After a period of separation, the singer is back with his ex-girlfriend Suzanne Jetzkus (36) together.
The couple fell in love in 2020, were even engaged and wanted to get married. Then in October 2021 the love-off in the dispute.

But both later found that neither could really do without the other. They got closer, and the couple has been in a relationship again since early summer. And of course they celebrate his birthday together.

That’s what Zucker thinks about sex
In his current song “City for Us Alone”, Zucker sings about letting himself drift with his favorite person. Now Zucker admits: “My favorite person, with whom I like to let myself drift through the city, is my girlfriend.”
What does love and sex mean to him at 40? He: “Love is the reason I get up in the morning and sex is the best thing in the world.”

Sugar: “I’d love to. The point in time is not fixed. It happens when it’s meant to happen and I’m looking forward to that.”
Ben Zucker already has a daughter from a previous relationship. “She is an absolute whirlwind. It’s just great to see her growing up. We have very good contact, even though I’m often on the road.”
Before his big break in 2016 and the turbo career with gold and platinum albums and sold-out tours, Ben Zucker had to endure tough times. He was chronically broke, sat In 2010 he was even jailed for ten days because he couldn’t pay a fine. At that time, his mother Christina (60) stood by him. And that’s still the case today.
Sugar: “My mom is fine. To this day, she is still very touched by what has become of her son. It makes me proud that she’s proud of me.”

Ben Zucker enjoys the time between his concerts in Timmendorf on the Baltic Sea, where he moved from his hometown Berlin a few years ago.
“I like to go for a walk on the beach in the morning. It clears my head and helps me to create new song ideas. Stand Up Paddling (Stand-up paddling, note d. editor) I discovered for myself and is a very intense challenge on the Baltic Sea. Otherwise, I like to ride my bike, play soccer, do weight training and play Playstation.”

Since the Corona period Zucker does sports intensively. But a torn ligament knocked him out for two and a half months. “That really bothered me because I love to play football. I also gained two to three kilos, they have to come off again. It’s about time I got back on the pitch.”
Age doesn’t scare Ben Zucker. At 40 he feels better and fitter than ever. “I feel very good and also like to get older, that’s part of it and keeps me growing up – at least that’s what I imagine.”
