Five years after the breakup: Ben Stiller is back with his ex-wife

During the corona pandemic, they found each other again: Ben Stiller and his ex-wife Christine Taylor are a couple again. The two separated in 2017.
Love comeback for Ben Stiller: The actor is back with his ex-wife Christine Taylor, as revealed in an interview with the US magazine “Esquire” confirmed. The couple separated in 2017 but never officially divorced.
When the corona pandemic broke out, Stiller moved back into his wife’s house to be able to see his children in lockdown. “Then the whole thing developed over time,” said the 56-year-old. “We were separated and we got back together and we’re happy about it. It’s really wonderful for all of us.” The love comeback was “unexpected” and “one of the things that came out of the pandemic”.
Stiller continued, “We respect that we’re similar and that we’re different. When you accept that, you can really appreciate someone because you’re not trying to get them to change for you.” Then you save “a lot of energy”. “When you have that trust in a partner, you know that ‘I don’t like doing this’ doesn’t mean ‘I don’t like you’.”

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor announced their split in May 2017. “It is with tremendous love and respect for one another, and after 18 years together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” they said in a statement, from which the Magazine “People” quoted. Her priority continues to be “raising our children as devoted parents and closest friends.”
Stiller and Taylor met while filming in the late 1990s and married in May 2000 in Hawaii. The couple have two children together: 19-year-old daughter Ella Olivia and 16-year-old son Quinlin Dempsey.
