Bella Hadid makes her acting debut. The model will become a guest star in the comedy series “Ramy”. She feels “honored,” she said.
Bella Hadid (25) will soon no longer only be at home on the big catwalks, but will now also be in front of the camera as an actress. The supermodel will star in the third season of the American comedy-drama series Ramy. The “Hollywood Reporter” reported. Hadid shared the report on Instagram and confirmed the news. “Best cast, best crew, best show,” she wrote. She was “excited” and felt “honoured”.
It is not yet known what role the 25-year-old will play. The award-winning series “Ramy” is about Ramy Hassan (Ramy Youssef, 31), who, as a Muslim in the USA, deals with his faith and lifestyle. He grapples with his politically divided New Jersey neighborhood and explores his role in the millennial generation. Ramy Youssef received a Golden Globe for his acting performance and was nominated for two Emmys.
Bella Hadid wants to win an Oscar one day
Bella Hadid had already talked about wanting to be in front of the camera as an actress in 2017. She even went one step further: her goal is to win an Oscar, she explained to the Telegraph. First, however, she had to “take acting lessons,” she said at the time. She wants to be an actress so that she can “make herself heard more in the world”. “I think if I work that much, I’ll get a better platform to make bigger things happen in the world,” the model explained.
