08:31 : 7:07 p.m., last night. The Allegro train entered the station of the Finnish capital, Helsinki, and with it ended the last still active railway line between Russia and the European Union. Twelve years after the maiden voyage of this modern train with Vladimir Putin on board, then a symbol of renewal for Euro-Russian relations, traffic is interrupted from this Monday between Saint Petersburg and Helsinki.
