Before leaving, Marion Maréchal would have “squandered” the money from Reconquête

Concern at Reconquest headquarters. Already orphaned by some of its executives, Eric Zemmour’s party could have empty pockets. According to Chained duckpublished this Wednesday, Marion Maréchal would have “squandered Zemmour’s money”, during the European campaign, before joining his aunt’s RN. In an internal email consulted by Le Canard, the treasurer of Reconquête, Gilbert Payet, is concerned about irregularities and a potential “rejection of the campaign account” from the list of Europeans.

He estimates that 500,000 euros would have been “siphoned off” by four consulting companies owned by relatives of Marion Maréchal. In March alone, the Delta Lead firm, run by Philippe Schleiter, nephew of the Holocaust denier Robert Faurisson, would have received 19,800 euros. “You’re crazy. No one was paid at this level during the presidential election,” Gilbert Payet reportedly wrote, alerted by the campaign team. but Philippe Schleiter denies it.

Three other people would have benefited from the crazy generosity of Marion Maréchal: Agnès Marion, her chief of staff, Thibaut Monier and Nathalie Caternet, respectively co-founder and director of Issep, a “school” opened by Marion Maréchal in Lyon. So many friends who followed Marion Maréchal when she left Eric Zemmour’s party. And Marine Le Pen’s niece, not content with drying up the coffers of Reconquête, would not have left empty-handed: her teams would have collected personal data of activists of Reconquest, which would be a transgression of GDPR rules according to the party.
