Stop the CDU!
An evening of discussion with Rammstein critic Shelby Lynn (24) enrages TV presenter Sophia Thomalla (34) to the extreme. In June, Lynn made violent accusations against frontman Till Lindemann (60) and the band, thereby starting the discussion about Rammstein.
Yesterday, Wednesday evening, Lynn was a guest at the CDU’s women’s policy evening in Berlin. Topic: “Violence against women – breaking the silence”.
Reason for Thomalla, Lindemann’s ex-girlfriend, to resign from the party after twelve years of membership, as she announced on Instagram. She attacks the CDU: “I don’t want to continue to support the ever-increasing loss of reality among some politicians.”
The MPs Julia Klöckner (55, CDU) and Dorothee Bär (45, CSU) invited Lynn to the evening.
Thomalla angrily said on Instagram: “Thanks to our politicians, this lady is now standing on an official stage in our political house and fighting for women. So for me too. Bär said at the start of the event: ‘It shouldn’t be about what happened or didn’t happen.’ But! That’s what it should always be about.”
Lynn did not invite a woman who “had to experience actual and real violence.” According to Thomalla, Lynn said “herself” that “Till would never have touched her”.
The Irish woman claimed to have been given knockout drops at a Rammstein concert. Lindemann had always denied the allegations and the investigation was closed.
Thomalla traces her contribution to the success of the AfD. “The fact that politicians like Dorothee Bär and Julia Klöckner prefer to deal with people who are far from relevant in order to get quick and cheap applause from the woke Berlin bubble instead of dealing with the actual concerns of the citizens is, unfortunately, exactly one of the reasons why AfD gets such a relevant boost.”
The TV presenter is also upset about how both politicians are now dealing with the discussion on social networks. Thomalla to BILD: “It is also significant that politicians take actions and then are not prepared to talk to people – and simply turn off their comment function. A rogue who thinks evil of it…”
And what does Shelby Lynn say about Thomalla’s comments? The Irishwoman reacted promptly to Sophia’s statement. And called her a “nasty cow” on Instagram. She would go public again at any time, said Shelby at the CDU evening. “I would do it again and again and again.” And in the direction of Thomalla’s CDU exit, she rumbles online: “Bye, girl. You won’t be missed.”
