Beatrix smeared with faeces by Storch: “It was really disgusting”

AfD politician Beatrix von Storch wanted to give a speech in the Eifel town of Daun. There, however, she fell victim to an extremely unpleasant attack.
Von Storch told the German Press Agency that the perpetrator had asked her for a photo together on the stage in the event hall. This was nothing unusual, and she was always willing to do so in principle. However, the man then suddenly smeared her with the excrement. “It was really disgusting,” von Storch said.

The man was then immediately overpowered by the police in front of the event hall. The arrest was filmed by SWR cameramen and is in a TV report to see. According to the police, a preliminary investigation is now underway against him for insult and attempted bodily harm. Von Storch said she had filed a complaint against the perpetrator.
In front of the hall there was also a demonstration against the AfD event with around 100 participants, as the police spokesman said. This was completely peaceful. It is not known whether the attacker was a participant in the demonstration.

It is probably the most unpleasant, but not the first such attack on the 52-year-old: In February 2016, a man disguised as a clown threw a cake at a party meeting from Storch. He sang “Happy Birthday” while a partner filmed the action.
