Next “Schschlag den Star” show on Sunday evening
The ProSieben show changes broadcasting slots for the latest edition. Instead of on Saturday evening, the two European soccer champions from 1996 will jump into the show competitions on Sunday, June 2nd. The reason for the unusual broadcast slot is the Champions League final, which takes place in Wembley on June 1st. As usual, a live show from “Schlag den Star” is planned. Babbel and Scholl compete against each other in up to 15 rounds and fight for prize money of 100,000 euros.
The presenter of the ProSieben show is new this time: After the involuntary farewell to Elton (53), Matthias Opdenhövel (53) leads through the evening. The former “Schlag den Star” presenter returns to the format 13 years after his last broadcast. At the beginning of April, Elton reacted emotionally to his termination from “Schlag den Star”. “To make one thing clear: I am not giving up this wonderful show voluntarily,” wrote the long-time ProSieben presenter, among other things, upset in a post on Instagram.
