Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard should not have particularly good cards with his colleagues in the French national team.

France international Benjamin Pavard is apparently doubted within the French team. As L’Equipe reports, Pavard’s teammates are not particularly convinced of him. Accordingly, the Bayern player does not have the necessary quality to secure the right side of the defense.

According to French media, Benjamin Pavard clashed with Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane in the summer. Varane reportedly told Pogba Pavard felt that Pogba was not defending enough. Pogba allegedly confronted Pavard afterwards, allegedly insulting him by the right-back.

National coach Deschamps appreciates Pavard’s commitment

During the Nations League final against Spain last Sunday, TV cameras also caught Pogba angrily gesturing towards Pavard on the pitch after a dicey scene in his own penalty area.

Deschamps tried from the sidelines to calm Pogba down again. The national coach should be loud L’Equipe especially appreciate Pavard’s willingness to work and therefore give him more match practice on the right side of the defense.
