Bayern starting eleven against Stuttgart: No experiments

In less than an hour the ball will be rolling in Munich’s Allianz Arena. FC Bayern is playing its last home game of the season and meets VfB Stuttgart. Julian Nagelsmann does not make any big experiments with his starting eleven, as he did recently in Mainz. We will provide you with the line-ups for the game.

The Bayern coach had already stressed before the game that he would let his best team start, even if from a purely sporting point of view it’s not about anything anymore. Nevertheless, Nagelsmann would like to end the season properly with two wins.

Compared to the 1: 3 in Mainz, Julian Nagelsmann made five changes at Bayern: Manuel Neuer celebrates his comeback in goal, after Sven Ulreich was last allowed to start in Mainz. Nagelsmann has opted for a back four with Benjamin Pavard, Tanguy Nianzou, Dayot Upamecano and Alphonso Davies in front of the FCB goalkeeper. Somewhat surprisingly, Nianzou was chosen over Hernandez.

Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka start in defensive midfield. Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry start offensively on the wings, Thomas Müller in the centre. Lewandowski is set in the storm.

Leroy Sane (ill) and Jamal Musiala (not fit to play after an infection) are not available today. Corentin Tolisso is celebrating his squad comeback after a week-long break.

Subs: Ulreich – Richards, Süle, Choupo-Moting, Sabitzer, Hernandez, Roca, Tolisso, Stanisic

The starting line-ups at a glance:
