There is the second summer addition of the FC Bayern!
Two weeks ago, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that the record champions had agreed in principle with BVB star Raphael Guerreiro (29) on a free transfer for the Portuguese summer to Munich.
On Thursday morning Guerreiro, who can play both defensively and offensively on the left wing but also in midfield, went to the obligatory medical check-up at the Barmherzige Brüder hospital in Nymphenburg. BILD caught the 2016 European champion at 7.54 a.m. as he was being driven up to the underground car park of the clinic by a team supervisor. At the entrance, Guerreiro gave a happy thumbs-up.
A few minutes earlier, Bayern cardiologist Prof. Dr. Roland Schmidt arrived by bike for the check-up at the Brothers of Mercy, where he works full-time as a specialist in internal medicine, cardiology, emergency and intensive care and sports medicine.
After the last steps towards Guerreiro’s signature were a bit long in coming due to the international break, the health check came quickly. Finally, Guerreiro played a European Championship qualifier with Portugal on Tuesday (1-0) in Iceland, where he came on in the 67th minute for Bayern loan star Joao Cancelo (29).
With the signing of his Bayern contract, Cristiano Ronaldo’s (38) national team colleague and 224 appearances for Dortmund (40 goals, 50 assists) finally opened a new chapter in his career. After seven years without a championship title in the Bundesliga, Guerreiro should be particularly tempted to finally get his first bowl with Bayern.
This mission starts for Bayern’s second summer signing after Konrad Laimer (25/comes free of charge from RB Leipzig) at the latest at the start of training on July 13th.
