Bayern Munich: Maccabi confirms goalkeeper transfer | Sports

Now it’s done!

Maccabi Tel Aviv confirm the change of goalkeeper Daniel Peretz (23) to the Bavaria to Munich.

According to BILD information, the keeper will do the obligatory medical check in Munich on Friday. After that, Peretz will sign his five-year contract. He costs five million euros transfer fee plus possible bonuses.

In Israel, the change had recently made waves. Even Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (73) addressed the issue at the last cabinet meeting.

Alluding to the sale of Israel’s Arrow 3 defense system to Germany, Netanyahu added: “It is possible that we will also donate Daniel Peretz to German defense, we will check that in the next few days.”

And the media are jumping too. Tenor: “An Israeli player has never made it to Bayern Munich.” Many Israelis hope that Peretz will eventually succeed Manuel Neuer (37).

At Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israel U23 national goalkeeper (one senior international) has made 101 professional appearances (44 without conceding).

The gossip columns are about a different topic: Daniel Peretz is said to be in a relationship with the singer Noa Kirel (22).

Is not only a new goalkeeper coming to Munich, but also a music star? Noa came in third at the Eurovision Song Contest in May – 23 places ahead of Germany…
