Back for the first time after a three-game injury break, and at first everything was the same for Neuer against Hertha BSC: he only lost one of 26 matches in his Bundesliga career. Neuer got a few shots from Berlin, but they seemed like a respectful tribute to the veteran, so he could show himself again after his shoulder injury. Then, of course, the defenders left so much space in front of him that the national goalkeeper was more a witness than part of the action when the two goals were conceded. Towards the end with a bold save outside the penalty area that might not have been necessary but was spectacular.
