FC Bayern suffered a blatant defeat against FC Augsburg: Mané, Sané and Co are weakening.

Of the FC Bayern Munich has arrived in a crisis that has not existed since Kovac’s times. After the division of points against Union, Gladbach and Stuttgart, it was a 0-1 defeat in Augsburg. Berisha scored the decisive goal for Augsburg. Although the Munich team created chances, they all missed them and revealed some slapstick scenes both on the defensive and on the offensive! We take a look at the performances of the Bayern players

1. Manuel Neuer

The Bayern keeper had to intervene twice against Niederlechner in the early stages and completed both tasks with ease. On the other hand, as in the past few weeks, he wobbled unusually often with the kicks. When Berisha conceded, the national keeper couldn’t help it. In stoppage time, Neuer gave up his goalkeeper position and headed for two corner kicks. On his second attempt only a brilliantly parrying Gikiewicz could save. The best Bayern player today!

2. Noussair Mazraoui

The Moroccan started well and prepared Mane’s big chance in the early stages with a wonderful through ball. A little later, however, Demirovic tackled him rather roughly, which apparently had an effect on the right-back. Since this duel, the 24-year-old seemed completely out of character and could no longer set any accents. On the other hand, he made numerous bad passes and seemed inconsistent in the duels.

Rating: 3/10

3. Matthijs de Ligt

The Dutchman seemed just too sleepy in the early stages. At first he let Niederlechner put him out of the way before his big chance, before he acted too hesitantly in front of the Augsburg attacker’s long-range shot. For almost the entire game, de Ligt showed an absolutely inadequate duel. It doesn’t help that he improved a bit towards the end.

Rating: 3/10

4. Dayot Upamecano

The central defender allowed himself some rustic and close duels with Berisha and Niederlchner, in which he was by and large his man. Upamecano gave everything and kept pushing forward. In the air, however, he was no power with 25 percent of tackles won. However, it wasn’t the French’s fault that the game went so badly.

Rating: 5/10

5.Alphonso Davies

The Canadian started out rather jittery and unfocused and was partly responsible for Augsburg getting through to the Munich goal again and again. Only after 20 minutes did Davies improve and was the initiator of some dangerous scenes. For example, his cross to Thomas Müller in the 39th minute was strong, but he was unable to convert it. In the second half, Davies had to defend and attack as an outsider. He could hardly create any danger, although he was repeatedly served really badly by his teammates.

Rating: 4/10

6. Joshua Kimmich

Joshua Kimmich had his problems with the aggressive Augsburgers. Although the midfield leader didn’t make any serious mistakes, his creativity fell by the wayside. The 27-year-old could not steer the game in a controlled way. In stoppage time, he twice put Neuer in the limelight with a corner, but in the end it didn’t do anything.

Rating: 4/10

7.Leon Goretzka

Leon Goretzka actually only appeared in the first round when he hit it from a distance. His less than creative attempts missed the goal but mostly clearly. Otherwise there was practically nothing that the international contributed to the game. Goretzka seemed too sluggish and unimaginative until he was substituted. Too little!

Rating: 3/10

8. Thomas Muller

Thomas Müller improved compared to the last games. In round one, the space interpreter prepared both Sané’s big chance and Musiala’s two dangerous scenes. He was only unlucky with his own degree after a Davies cross.
In the second half there wasn’t that much to see from Raumdeuter. The 32-year-old had a top chance in the 61st minute, but he couldn’t take it. In header duels, Müller didn’t even take place today.

Rating: 5/10

9. Yamal Musiala

The youngster didn’t play as well today as in the last few weeks. He made some pretty rough turnovers in the first half, one of which almost resulted in Bauer conceding a goal in the 39th minute. In the second period, Musiala improved and prepared Mané and Sané’s great chances in the 55th and 73rd minutes. Incomprehensibly, he was substituted a little later.

Rating: 4/10

10. Leroy Sané

Leroy Sané did not make his happiest appearance. In the 17th and 72nd minutes he failed in front of goal by FCA keeper Gikiewicz. However, he is less to blame for this than his poor duel behavior before the 0:1. Otherwise, Sané seemed quite strong and tried a few things. In a few situations he used his teammates well, but misunderstandings, bad passes and unfortunate situations also increased. His desperate shot in the 90th minute went well over the goal.

Rating: 2/10

11. Sadio Mane

After the criticism, the Senegalese seemed extremely motivated and sometimes a little over-motivated. The offensive player wore himself out in the duels, but only won a few of them. In the 13th minute he actually had to make it 1-0 after a Mazraoui pass, but failed when he tried to let the FCA goalie get out. In general, it could be seen that the player lacked self-confidence. Mané showed hair-raising technical mistakes, nonsensical crosses and five-meter passes that went six meters past the teammate. Hard to believe!

Rating: 2/10

12. Serge Gnabry (62nd)

Apart from a good cross on Davies, practically nothing came from Gnabry after his substitution. An absolute disappointment!

Rating: 2/10

13. Marcel Sabitzer (69th)

Sabitzer only really appeared in the 89th minute when his attempt from 20 meters just missed the Augsburg goal. It wasn’t the Austrian’s fault today.

Rating: 5/10

14. Josip Stanisic (78th)

The Croatian came on for the last quarter of an hour but was intended as a hedge. Acted calmly and solidly in this role.

15. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (from 78th)

The Cameroonian was shockingly harmless in a final phase in which only Neuer was dangerous.
