Bayern boss Kahn reacts to Lewandowski’s announcement: “Such statements do not help anyone”

Robert Lewandowski made it clear again on Monday that he wants to leave in the summer. Bayern boss Oliver Kahn does not like that at all.
Oliver Kahn, CEO of FC Bayern Munich, has expressed his anger at Robert Lewandowski’s public wish to change on Monday. The striker said at a press conference in the Polish national team camp that his “Era at FC Bayern over” be.
“I can’t tell you why Robert chose this path,” explained Kahn sports1. “Such statements in public get nowhere,” he added, looking at Lewandowski’s press conference.

Lewandowski does not want to extend his contract with the German record champions, which expires in 2023, and is aiming for a change this summer. “I can’t imagine further cooperation. I hope they won’t keep me just because they can,” said the attacker on Monday. FC Barcelona, who are making intensive efforts to get Lewandowski, are the favorites to sign.
