On the way to the classroom, Michael Piazolo leads the way. The Prime Minister follows at a distance of one or two steps, he tells the teachers who are running along about his school days, advanced course in math. In the classroom, however, the circumstances are changing, again: Markus Söder has the first word, and he will also have the last later. “We’re glad you’re here,” says Söder about the 30 or so young Ukrainians who attend bridging and regular classes at the Munich-Moosach high school. Look to the left, time for a joke: “That’s the Minister of Education. He’s responsible for everything that doesn’t work.”
