On the second day of the farmers’ protests, there were limited restrictions on traffic in Bavaria. In Lower Bavaria, according to a police spokesman, a convoy of around 20 tractors caused temporary disruptions near the Philippsreut border crossing (Freyung-Grafenau district). The Mindelheim junction on Autobahn 96 was briefly blocked and there was a backlog, as a spokesman for the Swabia South/West Police Headquarters said.

Further rallies are expected throughout the morning. In Passau, a protest march with around 250 tractors is scheduled to drive through the city. The police are also expecting action in Dillingen in northern Swabia.
