If a farmer demonstrates somewhere, Michaela Kaniber is immediately there to cheer. There is little recognition left for other industries. But with love bombing, the CSU is distracting from its own failure.
Since time immemorial, no professional group in Bavaria has been as intensively celebrated as agriculture is currently. The Free State even provides two positions specifically for this purpose: Hubert Aiwanger (FW) and Michaela Kaniber (CSU). Wherever a farmer holds up a sign, the two are there to praise the heroic work of the farmers. Last Saturday Kaniber was once again at such an “insane demonstration”, this time in Sonthofen, “so friendly in a wonderful circle with outstanding farmers”. On her demo tour she is “extremely overwhelmed”, feels “pure goosebumps” and calls out to the demonstrators: “You are amazing!”
