A woman dies in a suspected truck accident in Passau, Bavaria. The background is still unclear.
A truck is in downtown Passau A group of pedestrians hit a group of pedestrians, injuring several people and killing a woman. The truck driver was also on the way to the hospital, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman was initially unable to provide any information about the cause of the accident or whether it could possibly have been an intentional act. Since the driver was taken to a clinic, a medical cause cannot be ruled out. A total of five people were injured in the Lower Bavarian city. “Bild” initially reported.
