Bavaria: Trio is said to have stolen millions from a money transporter – Bavaria

The public prosecutor’s office in Regensburg has accused the 55-year-old driver of the money transporter as the main perpetrator, as a judicial spokesman said on Wednesday. First had the Central Bavarian newspaper reported about it. The man is said to have given his girlfriend’s daughter around 1.03 million euros from the vault of the money transporter in a sports bag while his colleagues were in a supermarket. His girlfriend is said to have stowed the money in a car parked nearby. The act happened on April 17 in Cham.

The two 28 and 51-year-old women were also charged. The man is said to have carried a loaded revolver with him. In order to cover his tracks, after his colleagues returned, he faked an attack by two strangers. But the police quickly caught up with him because he got involved in contradictions. He eventually confessed to the crime and named his accomplices.

Investigators were able to secure most of the money. A witness contacted the police and stated that the driver’s girlfriend gave him 820,220 euros in a bag. The officials found another 86,000 euros in the house of the two women. The whereabouts of around 128,000 euros is still unclear. According to the spokesman for the judiciary, the three accused have admitted the crime in principle, but hold each other responsible for the planning and implementation. The Regional Court of Regensburg must now decide whether to admit the charges. Only then does a negotiation take place.
