Three police cars collided with each other because of a watering can that was lying on Autobahn 73 near Möhrendorf in Franconia. The drivers of the first two cars in a column saw the watering can late on Wednesday night and had to brake abruptly, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. A third police car then crashed into the second and a fourth into the third.
According to the spokesman, a total of six vehicles were not driving with flashing lights during the collision. Several passengers were slightly injured. The damage is estimated at several tens of thousands of euros. The police are now looking for witnesses to the watering can.
