Bavaria: Sheer anger at planned refugee accommodation – Bavaria

The people in the room have already made it more than clear to Miesbach District Administrator Olaf von Löwis (CSU) that they have a different opinion. Löwis wants to free up two gyms in Miesbach and one in Tegernsee for sports again and provide hundreds of refugees who have had to live in these halls for almost two years with at least slightly better accommodation. This accommodation is to be in a container village for 500 people, on district-owned property far away from any major settlement and directly next to the district’s waste recycling plant in the municipality of Warngau – due to the lack of any alternative, as Löwis asserts time and again.
