Bavaria: Police investigations after the killing of a student connected – Bavaria

In the case of the killed student from Aschau im Chiemgau, the police have completed their investigations after almost seven months. The final report was received by the public prosecutor’s office in Traunstein last week, confirmed chief public prosecutor Gunther Scharbert on Tuesday when asked. “The files in this case currently have a volume of around 20,000 sheets. However, since the public prosecutor’s office was closely involved and informed from the beginning of the investigation, much of this is already known,” said Scharbert.

An adolescent has been in custody for months on suspicion of a crime. The public prosecutor’s office will bring the proceedings to a conclusion “with the acceleration required in detention cases. I cannot name an exact point in time here,” explained the senior public prosecutor.

The 23-year-old at the time of the crime celebrated on October 2nd in the “Eiskeller” club in Aschau (Rosenheim district) and then did not come home. Hours later – the next day – a passer-by discovered her body downstream in the Prien. Around six weeks later, a man between 18 and 21 years old was arrested – a jogger who was seen near the club on the night of the crime.

Almost 700 visitors to the nightclub who had celebrated there on the night of the crime were questioned. The trace of a wristwatch that had been found in the vicinity of the crime also led nowhere. According to the investigations so far, the owner who has been wanted for months has nothing to do with the crime.
