Bavaria: Police bring stray deer back into the forest – Bavaria

With patrol cars and blue lights, police officers in the Upper Palatinate brought a stray deer back into the forest. The animal got lost between the houses in Sulzbach-Rosenberg (Amberg-Sulzbach district) on Tuesday and could not find its way back alone, the police said. Because the deer was a danger to the onset of rush hour traffic, the officers tied the animal with a rope and brought it into the patrol car. After a blue light ride to a nearby wooded area, they would have released the deer again. The animal then jumped away “visibly relieved”.
