The police broke up a suspected illegal poker game in a company in Memmingen. During a raid on Saturday night, officers seized tens of thousands of euros in cash, small amounts of cocaine, a poker table and gaming equipment.
According to the police, twelve people are now being investigated on suspicion of illegal gambling. The investigators assume that poker rounds regularly took place in a back room of the company. The police also searched the apartment of a 49-year-old, who is said to be the organizer of the illegal gaming rounds.
