The Bavarian state government wants to persuade the federal government to create legal certainty on the issue of the return of cultural property confiscated as a result of Nazi persecution. A new law would be needed for this. At the same time, the Free State is repeatedly criticized for its own course in disputes such as the Picasso painting “Madame Soler”.
