A Würzburg fraternity is suspected of sedition. Evidence was seized during a search on Thursday, a police spokeswoman said on Friday. These would now be evaluated.
The police had previously received information that the fraternity was using the symbols of unconstitutional organizations. The police did not provide any further details.
The fraternity has so far left a request from the German Press Agency for a statement unanswered. The fraternity has been accused of right-wing extremist tendencies in the past.
