Vaccination against the corona virus will remain a service provided by statutory health insurance companies in Bavaria. The Bavarian health insurance companies and the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVB) agreed on a compromise on remuneration at state level shortly before the nationwide coronavirus vaccination ordinance expired this Friday, as the KVB announced on Thursday in Munich. So nothing changes for the patients.
“Even if there is currently no great demand for the corona vaccination in the practices, we are well prepared for the autumn and possible new waves of flu,” commented the KVB board.
