A 17-year-old is said to have beaten up a man in Immenstadt in the Allgäu. At first the case didn’t sound dramatic, but now the victim has died.

In the In Allgäu, a 53-year-old died after he was allegedly beaten up by a 17-year-old. As a spokesman for the Kempten public prosecutor’s office explained, the young person will be brought before the judge on Wednesday. An arrest warrant is being requested. The investigators wanted to provide further information about the case in the afternoon.

The police had already reported on the attack on Tuesday. Accordingly, the young person apparently attacked the 53-year-old in Immenstadt on the night of Monday to Tuesday for no reason. Initially there was only talk of a minor head injury. After the crime, the victim managed to escape to the police station.

Based on a personal description of the victim, the officers were able to find the suspect at home. Initially, the 17-year-old was only investigated for bodily harm.
