Bastian Schweinsteiger destroys his former club Manchester United after the debacle against Liverpool
After the historic bankruptcy against Liverpool, Bastian Schweinsteiger goes tough with his ex-club Manchester United.
Manchester United suffered an historic defeat against Liverpool FC. Afterwards, Bastian Schweinsteiger spoke up – and passed a damning verdict.
“A devastating day for all ManUnited fans and the club, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It wasn’t a surprise,” tweeted Schweinsteiger, who played for United from 2015-2017.
Schweinsteiger: “Big difference” between United and Liverpool
The Red Devils went down on Sunday with 0: 5 (0: 4) against arch-rivals Liverpool FC. It was the biggest bankruptcy against the Reds after a 5-0 defeat in 1925. The four-goal deficit at Old Trafford was also an inglorious first for ManUnited – it was the highest break deficit in a Premier League home game for the English record champions.
“Liverpool showed them the difference, which is huge – they have a philosophy and a vision,” Schweinsteiger continued. The 37-year-old also congratulated Liverpool FC.
The former midfield director of FC Bayern Munich wished his ex-club around the increasingly criticized coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer good luck. “Hopefully Manchester United will be back very soon.”
