In an NBA game with three German basketball world champions, two celebrate a victory. For a star player, a series is broken in Dallas.

Franz and Moritz Wagner have that NBA game with three German basketball world champions against Dennis Schröder. The pair of brothers and the Orlando Magic prevailed against the Brooklyn Nets with 114:106 (61:54).

While the Magic consolidated fifth place in the Eastern Conference, the Nets failed to reduce their gap to tenth place, which qualifies for the playoffs. Franz Wagner scored 14 points, six assists and five rebounds, while his brother Moritz didn’t score more than two points. Dennis Schröder put up 13 points.

Doncic injured his thigh

With 109:99 (48:42), the Dallas Mavericks won the duel against the Golden State Warriors and thus a direct competitor for the playoff places. Superstar Luka Doncic scored 21 points, but failed to post a triple-double, i.e. double-digit scores in three categories, for the eighth time in a row. Doncic had to end the game early due to a thigh injury. Basketball national player Maxi Kleber remained on the floor without any points in just eight minutes.

The Denver Nuggets won the new edition of last year’s final series against the Miami Heat with 100:88 (50:44). After the tenth win from the last eleven games, the NBA defending champion is back in first place in the Western Conference for the first time in around four months. Denver took a decisive lead with an 11:2 run in the final phase. Superstar Nikola Jokic showed his usual versatility with twelve points, 14 rebounds and six assists.
