The basketball players of FC Bayern Munich are back on the road to success after the Euroleague defeat against Barcelona. On Friday, Andrea Trinchieri’s team won their catch-up game in the basketball Bundesliga at ratiopharm Ulm 77:65 (39:32). This means that the Munich team will not end the main round worse than third place. A tight game developed at first, in which no team was in the lead by more than four points. Bayern didn’t allow a goal from the field in the last three and a half minutes before the break and went into the dressing room with a 39:32 lead. The guests continued to be more accurate than Ulm, especially Vladimir Lucic (17 points) turned up the heat in the third quarter. Thanks to a 10-0 run, Bayern now have a gap of up to 13 points. Ulm did come back, but in the middle of the final section, Nick Weiler-Babb put Bayern on the road to victory with two threes in a row.
