Romain Bardet was livid on Sunday when he joined his team bus on the Quai des Ardennes in Liège. Two hours earlier, the Frenchman had abandoned the “Doyenne”, traumatized by the massive fall which had cut the peloton in two 60 kilometers from the finish, and in which he can no longer even remember if he is fell or not.
