Barcelona are said to be hoping to sign Milan midfielder Franck Kessie on a free transfer

Barcelona are said to be looking to strengthen every part of the team in the summer – and Milan’s Franck Kessie is said to be top of the list for midfield.
FC Barcelona reportedly want to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan in the summer. This is reported by the Spanish sports newspaper mark. The 25-year-old Ivorian is the ideal solution for the Catalans’ midfield, in which he could be built to succeed club legend Sergio Busquets in the long term.
Kessie is particularly interested in the fact that he is available on a free transfer in the summer as his contract in Milan expires. The market value of the box-to-box player is around 40 million euros.
PSG and Liverpool are also said to be interested in Kessie
Kessie has been playing for Milan since 2017, who signed him from Atalanta in 2019 for 24 million euros. With his performances at the Rossoneri, however, Kessie has not only attracted attention from Barca: According to the report, PSG and Liverpool also have a fundamental interest in him.
Kessie could replace Sergio Busquets at Barcelona. Compared to the more defensive 34-year-old, he is much more dangerous: in the last Serie A season he scored 13 goals, in the current he has five goals again.
