Barbara Schöneberger will be a fun bomb from next year Do you understand fun? moderate. The Südwestrundfunk (SWR) announced on Tuesday. “Barbara Schöneberger is quick-witted, funny and natural and fits perfectly with Understanding You Fun?”, Says SWR program director Clemens Bratzler. Her first show is expected to be on April 2, 2022 on Das Erste.
For them, a childhood dream is coming true with the new task, Schöneberger is quoted in the message. She is really looking forward to the faces of the people who will dupe her, said the 47-year-old. “Nice side effect: I can’t get it anymore.”
Schöneberger follows as moderator of Do you understand fun? to Guido Cantz, who announced in June that he would present the program for the last time in December. Cantz took over the Saturday evening show 2010 from Frank Elstner and is, according to SWR, the longest acting presenter of the show. Originally, from 1980 onwards, Kurt Felix ran the show that he had previously established on Swiss television. From 1983 to 1990 Paola Felix moderated the show together with her husband. In addition to Elstner, Harald Schmidt, Dieter Hallervorden and Cherno Jobatey also moderated Do you understand fun?.
