Bankrupt Three Arrows Capital (3AC)’s NFT set to be sold in days

NFT tokens owned by bankrupt hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) will be sold by liquidator Teneo, according to a recent announcement.

In a notice dated February 22, joint liquidator Christopher Farmer announcethat the liquidator intends to initiate a sale of NFTs owned by 3AC, emphasizing that the sale will be done for “Recognizing the value of the NFT for liquidation purposes,” the sale will begin 28 days after the announcement.

The liquidator clarified in its announcement that it would not include so-called “Starry Night Portfolio” NFTs, as of October 5, 2022, as of October 5, 2022, 300 NFTs were transferred from Starry Night Capital, a subsidiary of 3AC, as part of the review process. 3AC’s bankruptcy, with the liquidator highlighting that these NFTs are subject to filings with the Supreme Court in the British Virgin Islands.

While the announcement did not specify which NFTs will be sold, analyst Tom Wan posted on Twitter that which NFTs the liquidators might sell. According to Wan, the NFTs for sale may include many well-known NFT projects.
