He still rocks the stages and of course the favorite beer garden in the region. And as such, the Waldgasthof Buchenhain in Baierbrunn can call itself for the fourth time in a row in the category “beer garden with over 500 seats” thanks to a public vote. To celebrate, the hosts Stefan Kastner and Rina den Drijver invited the pop singer Chris Andrews, who, even at the age of 79, can still inspire large crowds. There was hearty bawling, dancing and celebrating in the Buchenhain – and Andrews made it clear that he is definitely not what he himself sang in his big hit from 1965: a “Yesterday Man”. Finally, “Judith & Mel” came along with German pop, dressed all in white, they delighted in their favorite beer garden with “Land in the North” and “The Golden Years”.
