According to Deutsche Bahn, a technical fault in northern Germany is currently leading to a complete standstill in long-distance traffic. All ICE, IC and EC trains in northern Germany are affected, the railway said on Saturday morning.
“Unfortunately, there are short-term train and stop cancellations”, it says on the website of the railway. The company advises travelers to inform themselves shortly before planned journeys on the Deutsche Bahn website or via the “DB Navigator” app.
