Two cars collided on a federal highway in Baden-Württemberg early on Saturday morning – with fatal consequences.
In a serious traffic accident early on Saturday morning near Horb am Neckar (Freudenstadt district), three people died and another person was seriously injured.
As the police in Pforzheim reported, a 33-year-old driver on the federal highway 28 in the direction of Freudenstadt entered the oncoming lane and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The 32-year-old passenger who caused the accident and two men who were in the oncoming car died in the accident. The 33-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Part of his vehicle caught fire after the accident. The highway remained closed at the scene of the accident for several hours. The Traffic Police Inspectorate took over the investigation. There was no information on possible causes of the collision.
