Claude Dartois is back in a strategy game. But this time, not as a candidate, but as a presenter. From April 17, the champion of Koh Lanta will present a brand new show on the Netflix platform, entitled Bad player. The first minutes of the first episode have been revealed, spotted The Huffington Post.
13 adventurers, seven women and six men, are gathered on a paradise island in Mexico. We see them getting to know each other in good humor on a luxurious boat. Then, they land on a magnificent beach where we can see a sumptuous villa. “One thing is certain, it is that this evening, none of you will sleep there,” Claude Dartois tells them, causing the disappointment of all the candidates. For now, they will have to make do with camp beds and a night under the stars.
They ignore the rules of the game
When they arrive at this beach, the candidates have no idea what awaits them. “They ignore the rules,” we can read in the trailer released by Netflix. In fact, the production did not present the rules of the game to the adventurers before the start of the show. They are in the unknown. However, by welcoming them, Claude Dartois promises them that they will “live an unforgettable experience”.
During the game, each adventurer will have the opportunity to stay in the villa. “We will have to fight to achieve it,” warns the presenter. The big winner must also be there at the end of the adventure to win up to 150,000 euros. But to be able to win, he will have to be good at the tests and a good strategist.
Nine episodes
Their fate will also be in the hands of other adventurers. “You will have to choose who no longer has a place in the villa and must return to the camp,” explains Claude Dartois. They will also have to eliminate each other.
The show is an adaptation of the British reality television Surviving Paradise. The French version has 9 episodes and will end on May 1st.
