Bad Kissingen: Truck driver tries to turn around in a dead end for four hours – Bavaria

A 48-year-old got into a dead end with his truck in Bad Kissingen and tried to turn around for four hours. He caused material damage of around 1,500 euros, as the police announced on Tuesday.

The man followed a navigation system into the street on Monday and was no longer able to turn around in his 18-meter-long vehicle, according to a police spokesman. The driver tried to maneuver with centimeter precision for over four hours, including with the help of passers-by. According to the information, he got stuck on a lantern.

Finally he tried to turn around in a driveway, which he initially succeeded in doing. Since the entrance also had a slope, the truck got stuck there. Only the caretaker was able to free him by sawing off a railing. The police, who were called in the meantime, escorted the man in his truck to Nüdlingen, the spokesman continued.
