Bad Kissingen:Navi misleads trucks

For three hours, a semitrailer truck was stuck in a narrow alley in Bad Kissingen, Lower Franconia, into which a navigation device had guided the driver. As the police announced on Tuesday, the 43-year-old driver from Belgium was stranded on Monday morning on the outskirts of Bad Kissingen. Due to a road closure, the man tried to turn his truck in a residential area. He relied on his navigation device, said a police spokesman. In a curve, the 43-year-old driver then hit a wall with his truck and tried for hours to free him. It was not known whether passers-by or residents tried to help. There was a damage of 1500 euros.
