This aid is particularly awaited by millions of French people, after several months of inflation. The government has announced that the back-to-school bonus will be paid during the course of next month, and more precisely on the date of the September 15.
This “exceptional solidarity aid” will be paid to beneficiaries of social minima (such as the RSA or the allowance for disabled adults), as well as to scholarship students, said the Ministry of Solidarity. People eligible for this aid will receive a transfer of 100 euros, plus 50 euros per dependent child.
Yesterday the back-to-school allowance was paid, increased this year by 5.8% to help 3M families face the cost of the start of the school year.

The measure is part of the amending finance bill, voted by the National Assembly in difficulty on August 3. Be careful not to confuse the exceptional back-to-school bonus, which you will therefore receive on September 15, with the back-to-school allowance, which is aid paid to families with one or more children in school. The objective: to help them with expenses for the start of the school year. The first payments of the back-to-school allowance have already taken place.
