The big holidays are over, the second Corona summer is not just behind families with school-age children. Just like in Germany, the pandemic is still a dominant topic everywhere in Europe. Rising incidences, mask requirements, corona tests and showing proof of vaccination are also part of everyday life in the travel destinations, with which locals and guests have to come to terms. The SZ asked returnees how the rules were implemented at the respective vacation spots and wanted to know whether and to what extent the applicable regulations had influenced the travelers’ stay far away from Unterhaching or Unterschleißheim.
