Dusseldorf In the bachelor’s final, Dominik Stuckmann does not decide on the favorite candidate, but on the woman with whom he also has some opposites. Spoilers are built in, so be careful.
Jana-Maria can hardly believe it, she looks desperately at Dominik, her gaze confused, her facial expressions strong. This year’s bachelor Dominik Stuckmann has just dumped Jana-Maria, who was favored from episode 1, and in the finale, which has been on RTL+ since March 23, 2022 and on TV on RTL on March 30, decided on the somewhat quieter Anna . “Why did you tell me that you had a crush on me,” Jana-Maria asks her always adored bachelor. He, who has almost always made beautiful eyes and sometimes far more for her over ten episodes, does not really know an answer to that either: “When I said that, I felt it”. But now things have shifted for him and his heart has just decided for Anna. “I feel fooled, if I had known that from the beginning, I would not have revealed so much about myself,” says the visibly disappointed but still composed Jana-Maria after the rebuff to the cameras. Jana-Maria was the favorite from the start, the chemistry between her and Dominik was good, it crackled, Jana-Maria said he was “really wuschig”, the viewer could see the butterflies growing in their bellies.
Now the crash in the all-important episode. Bitter for Jana-Maria, but possibly the logical choice for Dominik. Despite all the obstacles he encountered on the journey on the TV show, Anna was always a haven for one to return to with peace of mind, even after eating elsewhere, meaning kissing other women. “I realized that we are quite different, but also the same. It is precisely this mixture that makes a good relationship,” he says to his flame. “I lie in bed at night and think of you. I’ve really fallen in love with you.” And then he adds: “I fell so in love with you, oh my god”. Of course, Anna can only give that back. If you believe the last scenes of this year’s bachelor’s season, it’s clear: Two people looked for and found each other.

And that Anna could be the better choice for Dominik. You notice that in the finale, especially in how the two dates are structured, especially the second half. With Jana-Maria and Anna, the bachelor looks at the joint journey with both women through the show. It’s a familiar atmosphere with Anna, people cuddle and keep quiet. “I would like to hug you and not let go”, such sentences can be heard there. With Jana-Maria it’s the same as always: There’s laughter, there’s flirting, but this one spark just doesn’t jump over. That is to be noted Dominik.
Afterwards he also openly admits that he made the decision in favor of Anna on the last date. “I listened to my heart,” he says. Anna too, now the two are a couple.
