It’s the video “Baby Shark Song”, a children’s song released in 2016, in which singing children dance in a colorful, animated underwater world.
The fact that the catchy song is so incredibly successful may be due to the fact that it is in English and can be understood in many countries. Or that Washington Nationals baseball player Gerardo Parra, the nursery rhyme made his entrance music and the dance became fan choreography. Or how the song became a political protest song in the Middle East in 2019 after Lebanese protesters performed the baby shark dance in front of a toddler to calm her down during a protest.
