The Azov regiment addressed the people of Russia on March 28 with a state-supporting message. In a message shared by Russian journalist Alexander Nezorov, the militants, who are playing the leading role in defending the beleaguered port city of Mariupol, wished “thinking Russians to overthrow their government, which is sending their sons to their deaths over lying illusions of a twisted reality.”
