Ayinger Green – resigns from the party because yes to arms deliveries – district of Munich

At their small party conference on Saturday, the Greens voted with a large majority for the delivery of heavy weapons and the special fund for the Bundeswehr. Not everyone at the grassroots can make sense of his party’s changed attitude. The Ayinger Verseschmied Florian Fritz, who has been a member of the Greens for three years, is also one of the opponents of this decision and has drawn his personal conclusion from it: Because he condemns the way in which the Greens see the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine as the only viable option Selling away, he left the party. The Greens only see the military option and are not considering how the country could be helped from an ecological point of view, for example with regard to the lack of grain harvest, Fritz told the SZ. He wrote down his thoughts on it in the form of a poem:

It doesn’t feel right anymore. / A bit of dissent now and then, / that’s the core of the whole thing. / Discussion and opinion-making / and behaving democratically / sometimes also means arguing. / But one attitude must always remain. / Show yourself clearly and programmatically / and not morality and ego trips / as an exposed talk show tip! / What was yesterday was wrong, / 15 years gone. / That, my dear, is too simplistic. / The nod with the Krauss-Maffei pennant / does not yet statute experts. / To evaluate the Greens, / is painful from within, / a lot of travel, and immediately/ they know the answer: / Heavy weapons are needed there. / This gives me at most severe pain in my head and heart. / Rocket launches from green beds. / That’s why I resigned today.
